- Clients: Newt & Tonya Kellam
- Scope: Full Home Renovation – Kitchen, Flooring, Bathrooms, Living Room, Staircase & More
What began as a referral turned into a dream transformation.
Newt and Tonya Kellam came to us after being referred by their neighbor, Erik McLain, who had recently completed a remodel using Guilin Cabinets. Impressed by the craftsmanship, 10-year warranty, and competitive pricing, Newt and Tonya scheduled a visit to our Irvine showroom.

From the start, our process was smooth and collaborative. Vivian made scheduling simple, and soon after, Dean visited the Kellams’ San Clemente home to help design their ideal kitchen. As we discussed their vision, the project quickly evolved into something much bigger: a full home remodel.
Project Highlights:
Custom kitchen cabinetry with quartz countertops and a six-seat island
All-new flooring throughout the home
New appliances and a modern laundry room setup
Elegant arched doorways and updated entry features
Baseboards, door casings, and floating living room shelves
Custom fireplace with a handcrafted mantel
Staircase redesign
Master bathroom upgrade with a freestanding tub, custom vanity, and bespoke shower
And a one-of-a-kind built-in dog crate for their two beloved boxers, Zowie and Brutus

Our team of project managers—Andrew and Craig—worked closely with the Kellams every step of the way. They were supported by Bobby, Chris, and our skilled tradespeople including Amador, Fidel, Hu, James, Edgar, Diego, Ozzy, Jeremy, Mauricio, and Glen.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was bringing the Kellams’ inspiration photos to life. Whether it was a stunning glass cabinet design or a custom shower layout, we transformed their vision into a reality—with attention to every detail.

The result? A beautifully renovated home, completed faster than similar remodels in the area—and most importantly, two very happy homeowners.
“Everything was delivered as promised… from our dream kitchen to the custom-designed dog crate for our boxers. We are so grateful.”
