What’s the most important room in your house? For a lot of people, it’s the kitchen! It’s where you cook, eat, and hang out with family and friends. But what if your kitchen was… well, boring? That’s what happened to a family in Yorba Linda. Their kitchen had dark brown cabinets, plain white tiles, and just felt… old. They wanted a kitchen they could love. So, they gave us, Guilin Cabinets, a call!
Before we, Guilin Cabinets, did our thing, the kitchen was like something from a long time ago. It worked, but it wasn’t exciting. But after? Whoa! It was like a totally different kitchen. It was bright, open, and looked amazing.
The biggest change? The cabinets! We didn’t just put in new ones; we made them awesome. Instead of just one boring color, we used two: a light, pretty wood color on top and a super dark, almost black color on the bottom. It looks so much cooler. And the counters? They used to be plain white tiles. Now, they’re this shiny, white stuff called quartz. Quartz is tough, doesn’t get scratched easily, and it’s super easy to clean – perfect for a kitchen where people actually cook!
But it’s not just about looking good. We made sure the kitchen was easy to use, too. We added these cool pull-out drawers for pots and pans – way better than having to reach way back into a dark cabinet! We even made the trash cans disappear! They’re hidden inside a cabinet that pulls out – so smart!
Above the stove, there’s a new, shiny metal thing (it’s called a range hood) that sucks up all the smoke and smells when you’re cooking. And the lights? We put in new, bright lights that make the whole kitchen feel sunny and happy.
There’s still that part of the counter that sticks out (like a mini-table). It used to have stools. It’s still there, but now it looks super modern! It use to be all white, now it is black on the bottom to match the other bottom cabinets, and the top is white.
We, Guilin Cabinets, took a kitchen that was just okay and made it totally awesome. We listened to what the family wanted and made it happen. It shows how a little change can make a big difference.
